Since 1769, Saint Charles, Missouri, a restored historic city on the Missouri River, has been welcoming visitors to its shores. Founded by French Canadian fur trader Louis Blanchette, the city was named Les Petites Cotes (The Little Hills) which later evolved into Saint Charles. The town regularly welcomed guests from many nations and grew into an important trading center for countless pioneers. Because of its strategic location on the Missouri River and its entrance to the western territory known as the Louisiana Purchase, it was a critical destination for tens of thousands of travelers.
It was from Saint Charles in 1804 that William Clark and Meriwether Lewis departed up the Missouri River seeking the route to the Pacific Ocean byh order of President Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson had recently bought the Louisiana Purchase from the French and was eager to send these brave adventurers on their journey.
Saint Charles was also Missouri’s first state capital from 1821 to 1826 and the home of pioneer and explorer Daniel Boone and his family. It was Boone who created Noon’s Lick Trail through the Saint Charles countryside, out of which grew the Santa Fe Trail and later the Oregon Trail, both critical paths for early pioneers seeking a better life in the western United States.
The city of St Charles is headquarters for Quilogy, Growing Family, RX System, NewCo Enterprises and Client Services as well as home to the regional offices of Coca Cola Enterprises, Sysco and American Freightways.
St. Charles is the oldest city on the Missouri River and currently home to over 61,000 people.

The city of St. Peters is located in St. Charles County on Interstate 70 about 30 minutes west of the City of St. Louis or 90 miles east of Columbia, Missouri. Other nearby highways include: State Highway 94, State Highway 370, State Highway 79 and Highway 40/64.
Lambert International Airport is just 12 miles from the city limits. The Norfolk & Southern Railroad as well as the Burlington Northern Railroad serve Saint Peters with the nearest piggyback service being 35 – 40 miles away.

For the second time in three years, O’Fallon has been recognized by Money Magazine as on of the “100 Best places to Live”. This year, 2008, O’Fallon came in at number 68. Located about 20 minutes west of St. Louis County, the city of O’Fallon encompasses nearly 30 square miles with ideal access to I-70 in the north and I-64 in the south.
Established in 1856, O’Fallon is the seventh largest city in Missouri and the largest in St. Charles County, with a population of approximately 76,000 residents. While O’Fallon is rich in history, the city offers the latest in housing, business, retail and leisure activities.

The city of Lake Saint Louis is simply one of the best places in the Midwest to call home. As a planned community, Lake St. Louis offers home and business owners some of the finest residential and commercial amenities available anywhere. As their name implies, they have two lake as their central features (one is 500 acres and the other is 75 acres). Both lakes are available to residents living within the LSL Community Assn. boundaries. The lakes however, are not the only source of recreation; other amenities include an 18 hole championship golf course, two par 3 nine hole golf courses, tennis courts, beaches, swimming pools, horse stables and parks.
With it easy access to two major highways, I-70 to the north and I-64 to the south, you have a short drive to all of the many fun things to do in Saint Louis and Saint Charles county. Some of those attractions are: UMB Bank Amphitheater, Mid River and Chesterfield Shopping Malls, Lambert International Airport and the wine country.
Wentzville is a fast growing area with its easy access to I-70 and I-64. There are many new home subdivisions as well as existing home in the city in addition to a good school system along with new businesses moving into the area, shopping, large selection of restaurants and places of worship. Mayor Paul Lambi summed up Wentzville, MO very well when he said “Wentzville is an exciting place to be right now, and more people are discovering what living in Wentzville has to offer. Located at the crossroads of Interstate 70 and Highway 40, Wentzville offers convenient transportation access into St. Louis, reasonably-priced existing and new housing, and some of the most beautiful scenery around. We’ve gone from a small, country town of just over 5,000 in 1990 to a dynamic growing city of over 20,000 today. As more people have discovered Wentzville and moved here, businesses have taken notice and are opening an impressive array of new businesses here.”
